Cambria College Proudly Supports Filipino Heritage Month & Mabuhay Festival 2025

Cambria College is honored to be a proud sponsor of the Mabuhay Festival 2025, a highlight event in celebration of Filipino Heritage Month across Canada. This month-long observance recognizes the rich history, culture, and countless contributions of the Filipino community throughout British Columbia and beyond.

Celebrating Culture and Community

Taking place on June 14 and 15 at Centennial Square in Victoria, the Mabuhay Festival promises a vibrant celebration of Filipino heritage, welcoming families, friends, and community members to come together in the spirit of unity. Attendees will enjoy a rich showcase of Filipino culture, including live music and cultural performances, authentic cuisine, arts and crafts exhibits, and a variety of family-friendly activities such as games and karaoke — offering something for everyone to enjoy. Cambria College is proud to stand alongside our fellow sponsors, including the Province of British Columbia and the City of Victoria, in supporting this event that embodies the Filipino spirit of “bayanihan” — unity, resilience, and community cooperation.

Representing Cambria College

As part of our commitment to diversity and community engagement, Cambria College will be present at the festival, representing our campuses and connecting with future students and community partners. We invite everyone to stop by our booth to learn more about our programs, meet our team, and celebrate the true spirit of community building together.

Honouring the Filipino Community

With over 174,000 Filipinos calling B.C. home — including more than 8,500 in Greater Victoria alone — the Filipino community continues to shape our province through culture, compassion, and civic spirit. We celebrate with deep respect and solidarity, and we look forward to joining the festivities with our Filipino neighbours and friends. Mabuhay!
