
Cambria College, serving as the skills training provider, is pleased to collaborate with Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Centre Society to deliver the Medical Office Assistant program, equipping students with the practical skills and knowledge needed for success in the healthcare field.
Eligibility Criteria:
Be legally entitled to work in Canada:
- Be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Persons (refugees/protected status)
- Meet English language requirements
- Be 19+ or have completed high school/equivalent
- Residing in British Columbia
- Have a valid SIN
- Being unemployed or underemployed (part-time, casual, seasonal, precarious work)

- WHMIS Certification
Upon completion of the program, you will be prepared for entry-level positions as a Medical Office Assistant in:
- Hospitals
- Clinics
- Physicians’ offices
- Other healthcare-related office settings
