Cambria College, serving as the skills training provider, is pleased to collaborate with Self Rise Training Society to deliver the Medical Laboratory Assistant program, equipping students with the practical skills and knowledge needed for success in the healthcare field.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Have a valid SIN
- Reside in British Columbia
- Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or a Protected Person with a valid work permit and proof of protected status
Additional Notes for Protected Persons:
- For training under 6 months: must provide a valid protected status document and a valid work permit
- For training over 6 months: must also provide a valid study permit
Since the duration of this training is more than six months, a valid study permit, along with other documents—including Notice of Decision (IRB) and/or Verification of Status (IRCC)—is required by CWRG and must be provided to Self Rise.
